ZDM Irrigation Machines: Efficient Irrigation for Large Fields

ZDM Center Pivot Models

  • Automated systems rotating 360° around a central tower.

  • One machine covers from 10 to 130 ha without human intervention.

  • Easy to operate: minimal settings, maximum efficiency.

ZDM Sector Models
For fields with obstacles (buildings, gullies, poles) or irregular shape.

  • Irrigation within a set sector (partial circle).

  • Retain the automation and reliability of center pivot machines.

The central tower of the towed-type center pivot irrigation machine is mounted on a wheeled platform, allowing it to be moved from one part of the field to another using a tractor. This way, one machine can irrigate multiple fields sequentially.

All necessary operations for installing and starting ZDM center pivot machines are low-cost compared to, for example, the implementation of drip irrigation systems. Large-span machines are easy to design, operate, maintain, and supply with water — only one water source and one pump station are needed. A center pivot machine for irrigating 50 hectares contains no more than 100–150 sprinklers. There is no need for constant monitoring, and maintenance requires no special skills. ZDM center and linear machines do not require additional filtration or related equipment and do not need excessive pressure to operate.

ZDM IRRIGATION MACHINES PAY OFF QUICKLY, HELPING YOU ACHIEVE HIGH PROFITS!

The annual maintenance and repair cost is less than 1% of the ZDM irrigation machine's purchase price. Initial investment ranges
from 110,000 rubles per hectare. The cost of pipelines and pumping stations is typically equal to or exceeds the cost of the machine itself. The resale value after the first year and even after 5, 10, or 20 years remains acceptable.

All metal components of the irrigation machine are hot-dip galvanized
(complies with GOST 9.907-2021)

Central Tower: Components and Description

  1. Electric collector
    Unit for connection and distribution of electrical power.

  2. Rotating elbow
    Allows the structure to rotate for irrigation of a defined sector.

  3. Flexible joint
    Compensates for vibrations and load, maintaining system tightness.

  4. Cross braces
    Improve structural stability when operating on uneven surfaces.

  5. Heavy-duty tower supports (brackets)
    Strengthen the frame, preventing deformation under load.

  6. Pressure riser
    Main channel for delivering water under pressure to the sprinklers.

  7. Ballast weight
    Reduces the risk of tipping in windy conditions.

  8. Control panel
    Interface for configuring irrigation modes and managing the system.

Key Advantages of the Design:

  • Clear separation of components for easier maintenance;

  • Adaptability to various soil types (thanks to ballast and braces);

  • Corrosion protection due to galvanization.
