If strong wind is a common feature of your climate, irrigation with the ZDM boom will help you avoid the problem of water drift by the wind. In our irrigation booms, water is distributed inside the pipe. This avoids the influence of wind on irrigation and achieves uniform watering.

The irrigation boom from ZDM-Irrigation Plant is compatible with drum-type irrigation machines of any brand due to its universal connection – it can be either central or side-mounted. Only 1–2 operators are required to operate the ZDM irrigation boom and start irrigation.

DO YOU NEED TO FOLD THE BOOM DURING TRANSPORTATION?

ZDM mounted irrigation booms – models KD 30/52 and KD 40/52 – are transported together with the irrigation machine as a single unit. They are compact in the folded state, lightweight, and easy to operate – one operator can handle them. The booms are made using the “folding spatial truss” technology.

ZDM trailed irrigation booms – models KD 63/86 and KD 77/98 – are also made using the “folding spatial truss” technology, with a rotary and pendulum mechanism on a four-wheel chassis. Easy to operate, folded and maintained by two operators.
